Magic happens in small town Harvard when its Garden Club collaborates with the Bromfield School’s artists. It fills the human spirit with pure joy to see the creations, the art and the flora. This website does a great job memorializing the magic of the weekend exhibit, extending the pleasure through time and distance, through both photography and video. Well done! It’s also nice to go back and see the exhibits from previous years. When you observe the floral interpretatons of art, and really give a close look to the companion art, it is sure to put a smile on your face as you realize the thoughtful yet playful ways that everyday gardeners can fill a vase, tipping their hat to the art students.

I am always impressed with what the students create, and also with the imaginative responses from the arrangers. Be sure to enlarge and look closely. The coral reef clay figures are amazing in detail! Congratulations to all, and thanks to FiveSparks for hosting the display!

Amazing how well the floral arrangements complement the artwork. The photos are stunning–such vivid colors against the black backing. It’s great the way we have the option of seeing the art and the arrangements in different “galleries.” Thanks, everyone.
